 EARLY YEARS FOUNDATION STAGE (EYFS)

At JIBS, we understand the three prime areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) COMMUNICATION AND LANGUAGE, PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT AS WELL A THEIR PERSONAL SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT. Development matters in the EYFS  which sets the standard for the learning, development and care of children from birth to five years old. Here children   are welcome into a safe, stimulating and nurturing  environment where attention is paid to their social, physical and cognitive development.   In this stage,  play underpins all development and learning for young children.  The learning activities are designed to ensure children enjoy learning and grow in confidence towards achieving their full potential. This is a very important stage as it helps the children get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes. In 2008, the early years foundation stage(EYFS) was introduced in the UK to provide a framework which could deliver consistent and high quality enviroments for all children in pre-school settings. recognising the importance of this period in a child’s life.
